Class Reunion information for Clearfield Area High School

ORIGINS and Partnered Sites -
www.clearfieldreunions.com debuted in December 2008, and here's how it all
came about -
Earlier in 2008 we were approached about designing a site for the Clearfield Area High
School Class of 1969 in anticipation of their 40th reunion in July 2009. Our reply was that
while we would be more than happy to help out, the idea of establishing and maintaining
a site for an event that occurs only once every five years was not an effective use of either
time or money. We offered the class space for their site as an extension of www.ladybisonsports.org and set about designing the pages for them. Those pages
appeared on Lady Bison Sports in the fall of 2008.
Realizing that a number of other classes ending in a "4" or a "9" would also be planning reunions in 2009, I asked Keith Billotte and Harold Short, both 1964 graduates, if they
thought that their (our) class would also be interested in doing the same. While both
fellows liked the idea, Keith suggested a more forward looking alternative ; that there
should be a site available to all graduating classes and with reunions occurring every year,
the site could keep operating continually. That's where we started.
We first intended for the site to be called "CHS Reunions" only to find after a little
research that "www.chsreunions.com" was already taken, so decided that
"Clearfield Reunions" would work just fine and so we then registered the domain name "www.clearfieldreunions.com" .
The already completed pages for 1969 were then transferred away from Lady Bison
Sports and the new pages for 1964 were added here shortly after. Click on either 1964 or
1969 to look at their pages
We welcome inquiries from any Clearfield group planning a reunion this year or next
and ask that other folks planning theirs farther in the future also keep us in mind.

Under the auspices of the Clearfield Aquatic Club, this site focuses on the competitive Swimming and Diving programs at C.H.S.
All three of the above sites regularly feature links to local and distant media reportage
of events, carry full team rosters and team pictures as well as extensive photo coverage
of games and meets. Beginning in the fall of 2009, we increased our scope by adding
VIDEO footage to the sporting meet photo coverage
